Masters of Drama: A Night of Operatic and Symphonic Brilliance

Please join us as we celebrate our 76th Concert Season opener with a performance of Mozart’s Don Giovanni Overture, Mendelssohn’s “Reformation” Symphony No. 5 in D Minor and Beethoven’s Triple Concerto for Violin, Cello and Piano featuring YooJin Jang, violin; Mimi Hwang, cello; and Elinor Freer, piano.

Spend a memorable evening with us and members of the Southtowns Youth Orchestra as David Kim, concertmaster of the Philadelphia Orchestra, transcends us into a world of romance with Praeludium and Allegro-In the Style of Paganini by Kreisler, Massenet’s Meditation from Thais and Carmen Fantasy by Sarasate. Even more romantic music from West Side Story by Bernstein, Polovtsian Dances by Borodin and Daphnis et Chloé Suite No. 2 by  Ravel.
