Please join us as we celebrate our 76th Concert Season opener with a performance of Mozart’s Don Giovanni Overture, Mendelssohn’s “Reformation” Symphony No. 5 in D Minor and Beethoven’s Triple Concerto for Violin, Cello and Piano featuring YooJin Jang, violin; Mimi Hwang, cello; and Elinor Freer, piano.

An Evening of Romance with David Kim
Spend a memorable evening with us and members of the Southtowns Youth Orchestra as David Kim, concertmaster of the Philadelphia Orchestra, transcends us into a world of romance with the following selections: Der Zigeunerbaron Ouverture by Johann Strauss II, Adriana Lecouvreur: Intermezzo by Cilea, Cavalleria Rusticana: Prelude and Intermezzo by Mascagni, Polovtsian Dances by Borodin, West Side Story by Bernstein (arr. Mason), Preludium and Allegro in the style of Paganini by Kreisler (David Kim, Violin), Salut d’amour by Elgar, Thaïs: Méditation by Massenet, and Carmen Fantasy op. 25 by Sarasate.
